Who is responsible
The Kingstone school you contact is responsible for the information you submit through this public website. For website-wide questions, write to Kingstoneschools@yahoo.com or call 0706 468 557.
What we collect and why
- Enquiries: your name, chosen school, reason for contacting us, message, and the email address or phone number you provide. We use this to answer your question, arrange a visit or explain admissions.
- Optional analytics: if you accept, we count visits to pages and selected navigation actions by day. The analytics database stores no name, email address, cookie ID or IP address.
- Security logs: the web server records technical request data, which can include an IP address, to operate and protect the website.
- Admin access: authorised staff accounts have login and audit information needed to manage enquiries and updates.
Children’s information
This public enquiry form is for a parent, guardian or other adult. Please do not put a child’s medical history, identification number or other sensitive details in the message. A formal student application, when offered by the school, uses a separate process and notice. Photos on this website are from the schools’ existing published media; the schools review permission to publish identifiable children.
Legal grounds and choices
We use enquiry details to respond to the request you make and to take steps you ask for before admission. We use security logs for legitimate website security and operation. Optional analytics runs only after your affirmative choice, which you can withdraw at any time through . Depending on where you live, other legal grounds and rights may apply.
Sharing and international access
Authorised school staff and our hosting provider may process data to provide this site. The site is hosted on our VPS in France, so a message sent from Uganda or another country may be processed there. We do not sell website enquiry information or use it for behavioural advertising. A school may share information when required by law or to protect a child.
How long we keep it
Website enquiries are removed after 12 months unless they have been transferred to a separate school process with its own retention rules. Optional analytics is stored as daily aggregate counts and removed after 14 months. Security logs are normally removed within 30 days. Backups can retain a deleted record for a limited restoration period.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction or deletion of your enquiry information, object to certain uses, or withdraw analytics consent. Some requests may be limited where the school must keep records by law. Contact Kingstoneschools@yahoo.com and tell us which school you contacted. We may verify your identity before disclosing private information. You may also complain to the data protection authority that applies to you, including Uganda’s Personal Data Protection Office.
Other services
The secure school portal is a separate service and has its own data practices. This public site does not take fee payments. When you follow an external link, that service’s privacy notice applies.
